Nate was straightening up his tie, then paused a moment to stare at the closed desk drawer. He bent over, slowly slid open the drawer, and stared into it. He pulled out a frame, holding a photo of his lovely wife and three children, that he had tucked away all those weeks while he felt confused about what he wanted. He propped up the frame on his desk with tears in his eyes and hurried home, where he apologized to his family and to his wife for what he had done.
